The President.

Edward L. Jones


Edward L. Jones is the founder, president and chief executive officer of EJ2 Associates, LLC. Ed has spent 25+ years in higher education as professor and administrator in teacher preparation programs. During his career in education he has designed, evaluated, and redeveloped training curricular to prepare teachers for the education workforce. In addition, Ed has served as external evaluator, including evaluating program services and impact, for numerous federal grant projects.

Ed has wide and varied experiences guiding organizations in accreditation, particularly for teacher education programs, and results-based management. He has served as Director of Teacher Education, Certification and Assessment and as Director of the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) accreditation reaffirmation process at Alabama A&M University. In addition, he has served as project external evaluator for a number of organizations, including the Department of Labor’s Trade Adjustment Assistance Community College and Career Training (TAACCCT) grant program, subcontracted from Technology Management Training Group, Inc.; the National Science Foundation’s Student, Teachers, Educational Partners (STEP) and Undergraduate Programs (UP) in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Career Paths programs, subcontracted through Lawson State Community College, and the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center’s Pre-service Teacher Institute, subcontracted through Oakwood University.

Ed brings his expertise in accreditation, evaluation and results-based management to EJ2 Associates, LLC. He combines this expertise with a diverse team of innovative associates to provide accreditation, evaluation, performance monitoring/continuous improvement and project management solutions particularly designed for clients in higher education, federal, state, and local nonprofit organizations.

Ed received his Doctor of Philosophy degree in curriculum, teaching & educational policy with an emphasis in chemical education from Michigan State University (1999), his Master of Science degree in inorganic chemistry from Clark Atlanta University (1990), and his Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Alabama A&M University (1986).

David Austin


Data and Systems Manager

David serves as the Data and Systems Manager at E2A and has prolific expertise, particularly in cybersecurity and network engineering. He serves as the head of IT for E2A managing the organization’s data and network systems. In this role, he serves as liaison to telecommunications companies who supply the physical network layer for data and voice communications as well as other vendors who supply the software for data management systems. David works with all project managers to oversee, develop and maintain the collection and use of data across the organization and for clients that allow project managers to provide clear, concise and accurate information reports for all projects. David is a U.S. Army Veteran and a 2006 graduate of Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Mildred Stiger


Mildred serves E2A in the capacity of Operations Associate, having responsibility for the general operational aspects of the office, including general office management and project operational support. She has over 30 years of experience in government, academic, and non-profit settings providing a range of office support and management expertise, including teambuilding and problem-solving skills and interpersonal abilities. She holds E2A together in all its operational aspects including complex and routine data entry, supporting team members in their project related needs and helping E2A improve its workflow efficiencies. Mildred holds the Bachelor of Science degree in History and Master of Library Science degree from Alabama A&M University.
